I was looking for an inexpensive way to get a photo booth set up for a small party. I am not a professional and didn't want to spend the 600-700 dollars for rental. This works great, even with my older model Nikon. Love the templates. Make sure you read the specs before buying. Live preview is not functional with my camera, but I was fine with that.

This is by far the easiest software. We have 7 people using it and you dont have to be a genius to use it. Wish dslr would provide us with more premade wedding templates to purchase.

it does what I need it to do. Easy to learn and best of all great price.

I really like the features of dslrbooth. I had a little issue with connectivity, but I think it's all figured out now. Great so far.

Works well. The settings are simple though not super intuitive. It took a couple of tries to get the timing right. I had to wait several seconds between shots to get them to register. Otherwise it is the best I've tried so far.

great product. Really wich live view worked on Apple computers and with canon models such as the eos1000 and Rebel xt models. Otherwise it's great!

I bought DSLR first and was talked into buying Darkroom later when I purchased a dye-sub printer based on Darkroom supposedly being superior. Wow was I surprised at the difficulty of Darkroom, the time it took for it to connect to my D7100, and most importantly the numerous crashes during a session. So, I sat down and did an extensive comparison of the two software packages. DSLR proved to be so much easier to use. so much more reliable, and an all around better package. Even though DSLR needs to add some support, I could easily navigate my way around to do custom templates and backgrounds and even add my own voices to the commands. |Needless to say, I called the person who had sold me the Darkroom software and they gave me my money back; however, the conversation ended with a "I guess you need something simpler that our software."|I give DSLR 4.5 stars out of 5 (.5 deduction for low support) and I can safely recommend this software to everyone operating a Photo Booth.

Software works as expected. Green screen option in the program is fantastic! Really easy to build your own templates. Built 30 my own movie templates for an Oscar party.

Easy to set up and use, still need more time to find out what it does

We just had a grad class dance, and the students really loved the photobooth pictures they were given! The software is a lot of fun! The software needs a few more options for allowing the photo size synch properly with the printer settings. We had a bit of trouble getting it to print landscape 4 X 6. We got the error message "incompatible media size". I realize this is a setting to change in the Mac Preferences which we did. I found a message board that showed me how to get into the Application settings for the Cups (spelling) my twitter account is @cjmiller71. I accidentally purchased the Windows version as well. I don't have a windows based computer that I want to use and I am hoping your company will reimburse the 150 purchase I made Feb 4, 2015.

I had originally purchased a competitor (Dark Booth) product, but ran into so many error and limited help that I decided to try dslrBooth. What a great decision! It's easy, fast, and intuitive. I just wish I didn't waste the money on the other product before using this one. :/

I bought this for my daughter's sweet 16 and the kids really enjoyed it. This is a excellent product and very easy to use. Thank you!

its perfect except for the overlay functions
