This update brings Custom AI Portraits to LumaBooth for Apple — write your own prompt to generate exactly the look you want, and personalize it for every guest. It also redesigns the guest browse and sharing experience, improves USB webcam support on iPad, refreshes the app's typography, and resolves a wide range of stability and reliability issues.

  • Write your own prompt to generate exactly the look you want, going beyond the built-in presets
  • Per-preset guest questions let a single custom prompt produce a personalized portrait for every guest, using answers like their name, jersey number, or chosen theme
  • AI Portraits now process all photos as a batch after capture completes instead of one at a time, for a smoother guest flow
  • Refreshed the guest-facing AI Portrait screens with a black theme to match other guest screens, plus numerous layout and font improvements
  • Added an AI Portrait indicator to the event list and improved error handling with clearer retry and cancel options

This update polishes the on-screen sharing experience, giving guests a cleaner way to revisit everything they captured and making sure your gallery settings are respected.

Sharing & Gallery

  • Added a single, redesigned session gallery button on the sharing screen — guests tap one elegant photo-frame stack to open a full-screen preview of everything from their session, including photos, prints, GIFs, boomerangs, slow-motion clips, and videos.
  • Improved the session preview so every captured item appears at full size in a clean, evenly spaced grid for crisper, easier viewing.
  • Gave you control over the gallery button's frame styling, with adjustable border color.
  • Resolved an issue where the "Show original photos" setting was ignored on the sharing screen, so your preference is now always honored.

Fixes a couple of video-upload issues that could keep your Virtual Attendant clips and other uploaded videos from playing back correctly.

Sharing & Uploads

  • Virtual Attendant uploads with non-English filenames now save correctly and play back reliably in your booth.
  • Uploaded .m4v videos are now saved as .mp4 so previews and the booth players can play them.
