It could be so easy to make this app international, just please put all text like print, are you sure to go back and so on inside fields that can be tranlated.

Speichert alle Bilder statt nur die Print Bilder (Collage), das müllt die IPad Gallerie komplett zu. Den ein Print Bild mit 3 Bilder drauf, hat somit 4 Bilder in der Gallerie.

I’ve done 3 events with this software and want to like it, but at $20 a month for the service, it really should be more reliable software. Besides needing to babysit the iPad for occasional hangs, the releases are just dumped on you and screw you over. Take the virtual assistant. Custom prompts used to kind of work. You had to figure out to make audio .m4a and get it in your iTunes library, but they played. Now, custom audio prompts will only let you select .mp3 files, but it won’t actually import and use them. If you rename a .m4a to .mp3, you can import the file, but your event file becomes corrupt. I learned this while trying to change one prompt on an existing event. Tell the bride all that time recording is now for naught on her big day… There just doesn’t seem to be any QA, so the releases come in a flurry (look at version history) If you have automatic update on, you can come back to an event and find they broke you overnight. Again, nice set of features and conceptually decent service, just poor quality, at least on iOS. There is a link to submit a support request, but I’ve never gotten a response. YMMV.

I have been using Lumabooth for a couple years now and have never had problems until now. The software won’t even let me access anything in my photos gallery on my iPad, so it is difficult to use any images/photos to use to make a template. I have tried to use the files, on this iPad, etc…but these images are no longer in a transparent format. Makes it more difficult instead of “easier” as it says. unfortunate, because now I have to find another way to somehow make templates that will allow for my images to have a transparent background.

LumaBooth was once great, but since besinning to charge a hefty sum for each individual iPad it unfortunately without valuable upgrades it lost it’s former glory. Would probably change my mind and accept the hefty price increases if: 1. Look into having boomerangs work outside the app to share for social media somehow (they do not loop unfortunately). 2. See if there is a better way to have files sent via sms where iPhones also could download videos and boomerangs without airdrop. 3. Make a bunch of improvements regarding flexibility of layout to justify the 18 USD/iPad/month price tag.

Issues with pics being oriented sideways after pics are taken. Happened at an event and was very frustrating. Rebooted 3 times and finally worked again. Love the app, but has some bugs.

As a professional photographer, I would use this app for my photo booths. It worked great for two weddings, the third wedding it had an update and stopped working. I tried everything to troubleshoot and it would no longer allow sharing images. Super frustrating. Please don’t release new versions without fixing bugs. I had to remove the booth and take photos with my camera and it was very frustrating.

Two high profile events have been let down by this app not sharing as it should. Shares stall, then get stuck as pending, then some cancel. Very hit and miss. Considering you pay an additional subscription fee for fotoshare I think this is ridiculous. On a positive note, the app is incredibly easy to use.

The gif and boomerang quality are really slow and glitchy… I definitely wouldn't recommend this app for professional use.

Really want the app to work, but think there’s an issue connecting purchased account to latest iOS version? Anyone else getting an error message that in-app purchases are not allowed on this iOS version? Able to get to work on friends’ older version iPad (iOS 10.3.3).

Loved using the SLRBooth on PC so it was exciting to see an option to have the same great program on the iPad. Unfortunately, there is a major glitch with using the front-facing camera and video/GIF animation output. The image is reversed so all the text is backwards. It is nice for Live viewing and is flipped back correctly for prints/photos but look very amateur when the participants receive a backwards image. It really ruins the whole experience =( Everyone loves the trendy Boomerang GIFs but the flawed output feels like Old-School just trying to catch-up with new devices and technology. Would definitely rate it five stars with some bug fixes.
