It just plain works
I expected an uphill battle trying to connect all my stuff together. I had my dslr for about 5 years and don't use it often at all. I've never plugged it into a computer before so I didn't know if the drivers would all be hard to get. I borrowed a printer from a friend so that just added to my gamble. However, the software was very intuitive and just worked the first time. No problems at all. Such a relief. So after one trial sheet (with the watermark) later I gladly shelled out 50 clams for a product that works. Thank you, dslrBooth people. My kids loved it at their birthday party and now I can take it to youth group, and offer it to other families for their parties, etc. I love it. P.S. I bought this for my little girls bday party and her middle name is Hope and I saw that your paypal account is Hope Pictures LLC so that was weird and awesome. :)

So Impressed with this software
We were looking at having a photo booth at our wedding and I'm also involved with a community theater. We have a good Nikon DSLR camera and knew there had to be a way to setup a photo booth area without spending $1500 to $5000 or renting one for hundreds of dollars. This software was affordable and easy to download, setup and use with tons of features and options. We are super excited to use it over the next few months including the weeding.

I used this software for the first time on a Sweet 16. It is so easy to use. Since we had a Step & Repeat backdrop we weren’t using the Green Screen. We used a template and it didn’t take us long to be up and running. Very happy with this purchase.

It does what you need to run photobooth
Works fine. I had no hassle during installing, everything works as it should. I used it with NIKON D3300 and i5 PC with WIN7 and in this setup it run very smooth.

dslrBooth for Windows - Professional Edition: It's Worth Every Penny
We tested a few photo booth software programs and dslrBooth came out on top in every way; price, functionality, and ease of use. The software is incredibly intuitive despite being loaded with tons of options and settings. That being said I do wish there was a basic user's manual if for no other reason than to explain the function for a few of the buttons. That aside this program is also fun to use!!! It really is. We had our system up and running in minutes and within 30 minutes we felt like we had already pretty much mastered it. Now that's impressive. The part we really love about this program is the ability to customize so many features to include adding our own voices for the various announcements. This is awesome for weddings. Imagine the reaction from the guests at a wedding when they hear the bride and/or grooms voice(s)!!!! Yes indeed, this software is worth every penny!

the program worked really well. Easy efficient, I didn't need to attend to it all. A good feature would be an ability to save the photos that have been taken. So that guests can take their photo, but the host still has copies of images of friends at their event.

Absolutely fantastic!
I have a marshmallow pink camper van converted into a photo booth that I take to festivals, weddings and events throughout the UK. I use the professional version of DSLRBOOTH and the photographs it creates are AMAZING! Awesome, only need one change
Awesome software, recommend over any other. Only would like to see 1 update. When selecting 1 print copy from the software, photobooth printers actually print 2, it'd be so so helpful if the print copies were numbered "2, 4, 6, 8, 10". When customers are printing copies. Because they think they don't understand that selecting 1 copy from the software actually prints them 2 copies. Or if they need to print 2 copies, they hit the 2 on the software and actually get 4 copies that come out of the printer. This happens on every person that try's printing, because they don't understand photobooth dye sub printers.

Pefect Photobooth Software

No Surprises
The software is exactly what it's advertised to be. It was easy to setup and worked exactly as I expected of a professional setup. The included templates are just plain layouts and if you want borders, accents, or text added to your shots it needs to be added to each template before the session but otherwise it comes mostly ready to just plug in and go.

Works great with my T3i and 6D
DSLRBooth works great, I was afraid of how fast it would run, but my Intel i3 with 4gb of ram and a low end Geforce card runs it perfect @ 20mp Jpegs. | |The template builder is easy to use, however I would love a "Nudge" option for moving the objects around as typing in the x/y coordinates for everything is a little time consuming if your making 5-6 templates for each themed shoot. | |Upload functions work great.

Documentation needs to be more accessible prior to sale.
Documentation is only available in Help. I had to connect my camera before I could edit the first template. Provide more templates for Graduation and keep the price reasonable for them. So far happy with the product.

DSLR booth is a great piece of software for the Photo Booth-er. Definitely the best looking product out there, it allows me to do just about everything one would want (video, GIF, stills in multiple configurations). There are times when the program gets bogged down with heavy usage. Might be my settings, but we’re currently working that out.

It cost less than a few other photobooth but a better deal for your dollar other photobooth programs dont offer Mac versions but DSLR BOOTH offers it in both Windows and Mac which is great I own both since my employees are PC users but am more a Mac user.

Perfect for Recreational Needs
My wife needed something to do a little DIY Photo booth and this was the perfect software. Cheap, easy installation and very user friendly. We were up and running immediately after opening. It recognized our Canon t2i right away and no configuration was needed. We needed to set the camera to not turn off automatically, but that was about it. You can edit everything from the backgrounds, how many pictures, how many seconds each picture takes, and even the voice that tell you to smile! Those are only a few of the things you can do. If you have an internet connection, you can setup sharing so it will send emails, send to twitter, or even a QR code that sends to your phone. We had originally been looking at an online photo booth that you pay for each session and it was a rip-off. This works better, is cheaper and doesn't require the internet. I run it on a Asus T100 tablet/laptop, and I needed an adapter for my camera to connect to the micro USB port, but that was about it. Doesn't require a crazy fast computer to get things done. My tablet has limited memory, which was going to be an issue, but I was able to get a micro SD card with 64GB of space and the software allowed me to save directly to it. It saves the film strips based on the template you create, but also saves every original picture in case you want them, which is a blessing, but a minor curse if you have limited space. I would like to set it so that it just saves the strips and get a little more room, but its fine for now with my 64 GB card in there. The only other thing I would like to see if the software automatically make the computer stay on. Obviously I can do this myself with the computer power settings, but just a small touch and this software would be absolutely perfect. Still gets a solid 5 stars anyway. Buy it now!

Makes a Great Photo Booth!!
Easy to install. Has many features. Reduced it by one star because it dosen't incorporate many of the conventional "save", "copy", "paste", etc. functions that are incorporated in most user friendlly programs. Just a little clumsy to use at first, but after you get used to it, it performs well. You'll have a lot of fun with it!

The Software was great!
The software was great! It works well and I'm using it for a party a week from now. The only downside is that, I was expecting the software to have an extended monitor feature wherein I can use my laptop with other things while the counter and live vision is projected into an extended monitor. Another surprising thing is that updates last only for a year. All in all it was great and compared to other softwares that I have tried this is the best.

Amazing Photo Booth Program
This program was extremely easy to use. The camera to program pictures were excellent. The ease for our guest was beyond simple. The sharing aspect and having control over it, is a great feature. I'd def recommend the professional version so that you have the live view feature. I love how you can easily personalize and design you photo templates.
