The "Show event date" option from fotoShare is back, so guests can see the date of your event on the online gallery again.

The online gallery background image is back on the free plan, and uploads in the gallery editor are more reliable.

Online gallery

• The gallery background image is available on every plan again, as it was in fotoShare. It sits under the background color in the gallery editor, on desktop and on mobile.
• Each event now shows its own background image in the editor. Previously the last uploaded image could appear on every event you opened, and a saved background did not show up again after a reload, so it could not be removed.
• When you upload a background image or an event banner, the tile keeps showing "Uploading..." until the image is fully saved, instead of looking done while the upload is still running.

Subscriptions

• The plan comparison now lists the event background color, background image and text color as included on the free plan.

This release makes slideshows look right on big screens and polishes the referral page.

Fixes

• Slideshow photos and videos now always fit the screen. On wide monitors and TVs, portrait photos and photo strips were cropped so only the top showed. The full picture is now always visible, on any screen.
• The Subscribe buttons on the referral page now match the dashboard's brand color.

Referral savings now show up before you pay.

Improved

• Subscribing through a referral link now shows the saving on the subscription page, next to the price, instead of it only appearing once you reach the payment step.

Referral links work again. People following a referral were being turned away, and the person who referred them was not being credited.

Fixed

• Following a referral link no longer tells you that you already have a subscription when you have never subscribed. You can subscribe through the link as intended, and the person who referred you is credited for it.
• The referral page now names the person whose link you followed, instead of showing the same anonymous wording to everyone.

A fix for anyone managing their subscription with the dashboard translated into their own language.

Subscriptions

• When your browser translates the dashboard (with Google Translate, for example), changing the number of devices on the manage subscription page now updates the device count and the price preview correctly. Before, those numbers could freeze at an earlier value, so the total on screen did not match what you would actually be charged.

Renaming an event now sticks for events from the older Windows booth, and old fotoshare.co links take you where you were actually headed.

Event names

• Renaming an event now holds when you reload the page. On events created with the older Windows booth, the name used to snap back to whatever the booth called it originally, which made the rename look like it had been ignored.
• Searching for an event by its new name now finds it. Renamed events from the older Windows booth were coming back with no results.
• The event lists you see when moving photos into another event, or when duplicating an event, now show each event's current name rather than its original one.

Signing in

• Old fotoshare.co links now take you to the page you were actually after once you sign in, instead of dropping you on the events list to hunt for it yourself.

Getting to your payments and invoices from the dashboard just got a lot easier, and renaming an event finally behaves the way you would expect.

Payments

• The Transactions button is back on your events. Open an event that takes booth payments and it takes you straight to that event's payments in your own Stripe dashboard. No more opening each booth to pull the numbers.
• There is now a dedicated page, linked from the support article, where you can disconnect the Stripe account your booth payments go to, so you can connect a different one.

Billing

• fotoShare Cloud subscribers could not see their invoices in the dashboard. Now they can, on the same Billing tab every other subscription has.

Events

• Renaming an event works properly. Clearing the old name no longer makes the box disappear mid-edit, an empty name is never saved by accident, and a confirm button inside the box makes it obvious how to keep your change.

LumaBooth now runs on Android as well as Apple, and the dashboard has caught up: names, device icons, update prompts, and download links all know the difference between Apple, Android, and Windows.

Subscriptions and downloads

• Your LumaBooth and LumaShare subscriptions now say "For Apple / Android", so it is clear at a glance what each one covers. The Windows subscription reads "For Windows (dslrBooth)".
• Each app has a download button per platform that takes you straight to the App Store or Google Play. On a computer you get a QR code to scan with the phone or tablet you are installing on.
• The Apple tab now spells out that App Store subscriptions do not cover Android devices, with a short explanation of what a direct subscription covers instead.

Devices

• Every device in your Devices list shows an Apple, Android, or Windows icon, so you can tell your booths apart at a glance.
• Update prompts follow each platform's own releases, so a device is only flagged when there is genuinely a newer version available for it.
• The update count on the Active devices card now matches the update arrows in the list.

This release adds quick access to Booth Copilot and cleans up a few visual details.

New

• Open Booth Copilot straight from your account menu. It signs you in automatically, no extra login needed.

• Flip or mirror captured photos and videos, so prints and downloads match what guests saw on screen during capture.

Screen editor

• You can now resize and position the live view layer on your welcome screens, controlling exactly how the camera preview appears on your iOS or Windows booth. It has its own on/off switch, styling options, and a one-click fullscreen action.

Fixes

• Fonts, sizes, and bold or italic styling chosen for survey answers, signatures, and text in a photo layout are now saved with the layout.
• Duplicating an event no longer loses the "Start App in Full Screen" and virtual keyboard settings used by Windows booths.
• The update button now appears when switching a subscription from monthly to annual billing.

This update makes billing easier to manage and improves settings on tablets.

Billing

• You can now add your billing name, VAT / tax ID, and address in account settings, and they will appear on your invoices. The address form adapts to your country.
• The card-update link in renewal reminder emails now opens the payment form right away, instead of leaving you to find it in the dashboard.

Tablets

• Layout and overlay size options now appear when managing your event on a tablet in portrait mode.

A small update that cleans up page titles across the dashboard.

Improvements

• Browser tabs now show the page name first, so it's easier to tell your dashboard tabs apart at a glance.
• Creating a new event from the LumaBooth app now shows "Create new event" at the top of the screen instead of a cut-off tagline.

• You can now choose a new 3:2 rectangle GIF size (1080×720) for your event's GIFs, alongside the existing rectangle and square sizes.

• The Shares list now loads every share and lets you page through all of them, so nothing is hidden.
