LumaBooth 5.4.2 focuses on USB direct printing: you can now choose the exact print size your loaded ribbon supports, get full-bleed prints that use the whole sheet, and see clearer, translated printing options throughout Print setup.
Printing
- Added the ability to choose the print size for the ribbon you have loaded (5x7, 6x8, 6x6, 5x5, 6x9, 4.5x6 and more) instead of having the size guessed from your template shape, with the cut options that belong to each size.
- Multi-up sizes now fill the whole sheet, so choosing one copy on a 2-up size prints two photos on one sheet rather than wasting half of it.
- The print button and the guest copies screen now show how many prints a press will produce, so you always know what is coming out of the printer.
- Resolved an issue where a print could be composed at a smaller size than the loaded ribbon, leaving white borders and wasting the sheet.
- Print sizes your printer's firmware cannot handle are no longer offered, so you never pick a size that dead-ends at a firmware message.
- Corrected the "Cut into 2x6 strips" switch so it only appears when the paper actually in the printer can be strip-cut.
- The printed test page now carries the proper LumaBooth branding and logo.
Printer Support
- Added support for the SwiftFoto KSF-10R, which previously reported as an unsupported printer when connected.
- HiTi prints on older ribbon batches now show accurate colors, removing the warm cast those ribbons produced.
- Improved the messages shown when a HiTi printer refuses a job: you now get plain-language guidance instead of a technical code.
Print Setup
- Redesigned the paper size picker in the photo layout editor as a large, easy-to-tap list that includes every size your connected printer supports, sorted small to large.
- In landscape, the Alignment card now sits under Select print method so the two columns are balanced.
- Rounded the corners of the "Printing…" overlay to match the rest of Print setup.
- The plus and minus buttons on the per event and per session limit rows now line up with the number and the "prints" label beside them.
Languages
- The USB Direct Printing settings are now translated into German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese, and longer size names wrap instead of being cut off.
