LumaBooth 5.4 is here for iPad, iPhone, and Mac, and it enables a new experience. Mirror every capture, drive the whole show from your Mac keyboard, resize the live view to match your event design, and print to more printers with fewer surprises.

Mirror It, Flip It, Love It

Guests can now get their final video or photo mirrored, so you can see yourself as in the mirror or draw/sign on clear glass as in a scribble booth. LumaBooth 5.4 lets you mirror captured photos and videos, so what comes out of the printer and lands in the gallery matches what your guests expect. Set it once in your capture settings and every shot/video follows.

More Printers, Happier Prints

USB Direct Printing on iPad now welcomes the Citizen CX-02, CX-02W, and CZ-01. Plug in the cable, pick USB Direct Printing in Print Setup, and you are printing.

DNP DS620 and DS820 owners get a quiet fix with a big payoff: when the printer naps into standby between sessions, LumaBooth now wakes it automatically and the print goes through. No more unplugging the cable mid-event.

And Print 2 per page now works with any template size, not just 2×6 strips. Design a single strip and the app will double it for you when printing.

Your Booth, Your Keyboard

Running LumaBooth on a Mac? New keyboard shortcuts let you start sessions, retake, and move through the flow without touching the screen. Perfect for tucked-away setups and operators who like to stay behind the scenes.

A Welcome Screen That Fits Your Vision

The live view on the Welcome Screen is now resizable, so you can make it the star of the show or tuck it neatly into your event design. Your printing text labels (printing message, copies title, button label) also sync with the dashboard now, keeping every device on message.

Smoother, Steadier Events

LumaBooth 5.4 also clears up the issues you told us about: a freeze between the countdown and the photo, event data disappearing on accounts with very large event lists, crashes when loading big layouts or importing with Replace, deleted soundtracks and overlays sneaking back after sync, and the truncated “Choose a Template” text in French. Less troubleshooting, more celebrating.
