This update focuses on stability, smoother event setup, and more flexible print and event management — including support for any characters in event names and per-event print preferences synced from your dashboard.
Event Management
- Resolved an issue where deleting all events and creating a new one could leave the start screen without any start buttons.
- Event names can now contain any character, including colons, apostrophes, and slashes — downloads, renames, exports, and deletions all handle these names reliably.
- Fixed a problem where downloading a cloud event whose name contained illegal filename characters would fail and leave the event partially synced.
- Resolved an issue where making template changes in the app could remove the template from the dashboard and iOS.
Printing
- Print automatically, Show print button, and Print to both printers are now event-level settings and can be synched to LumaBooth for Windows. Coming to the Dashboard soon.
- Streamlined Print Setup by removing rarely-used options (print sharpening, print window max, print auto-rotate) and applying sensible defaults automatically.
- Clearer wording and localization for Per Event, Per Session, and the Show print button explanation.
- Fixed the +/− signs not appearing on numeric controls in Print Setup.
Screen Editor (over remote connections)
- Resolved an issue where clicking the Done or Retake button in the Sharing Screen editor would shift the button off-screen as the right panel expanded.
- Fixed a phantom drag that could move template elements unexpectedly when toggling tabs.
These issues only occurred when using the Screen Editor over a remote desktop connection.
Virtual Attendant
- Virtual attendant videos now start promptly throughout long events, instead of taking progressively longer to begin playing as the software runs.
- Fixed a problem where virtual attendant video files with spaces in their filenames would fail to download.
Stability
- Hardened background tasks in Settings so unexpected errors no longer cause the app to close silently.
