This release overhauls the built-in text messaging experience with a redesigned subscription interface, smarter error handling, and improved phone number compatibility for international guests.
Text Messaging
- Redesigned the messaging settings panel to clearly show your subscription status, renewal date, and available options at a glance
- Added a prominent active subscription indicator so you can instantly confirm your messaging service is ready before an event
- Resolved an issue where the app would continuously retry sending SMS messages when no messaging subscription was active, reducing unnecessary server load
- Resolved an issue where SMS sends would retry indefinitely when a subscription had lapsed — failed sends now report an error immediately
- Removed the leading zero from phone numbers when sending internationally, improving delivery for guests in countries such as South Africa and France
- Phone number validation now requires at least four digits, preventing accidental sends to incomplete numbers
Reliability & Installation
- Removed a PowerShell script from the installer that was silently failing on some computers, improving installation reliability
