This update brings Custom AI Portraits to LumaBooth for Apple — write your own prompt to generate exactly the look you want, and personalize it for every guest. It also redesigns the guest browse and sharing experience, improves USB webcam support on iPad, refreshes the app's typography, and resolves a wide range of stability and reliability issues.

Custom AI Portraits

• Write your own prompt to generate exactly the look you want, going beyond the built-in presets
• Per-preset guest questions let a single custom prompt produce a personalized portrait for every guest, using answers like their name, jersey number, or chosen theme
• AI Portraits now process all photos as a batch after capture completes instead of one at a time, for a smoother guest flow
• Refreshed the guest-facing AI Portrait screens with a black theme to match other guest screens, plus numerous layout and font improvements
• Added an AI Portrait indicator to the event list and improved error handling with clearer retry and cancel options
• Resolved an issue where presets from older events could fail to load, and where a guest screen could get stuck downloading a thumbnail

Browse & Sharing

• Redesigned the start screen browse and the Photo/Print/GIF sharing screens to match the look of dslrBooth, including a new stacked-card thumbnail style
• Added a session gallery so guests can scroll through all photos from a session, with on-appear scroll hints and polished layout
• Improved thumbnail rendering and aspect-ratio handling so images are no longer clipped
• Fixed GIF-only sessions showing two GIF items on the recent browse screen

Camera & Webcam

• Improved USB webcam support on iPad (iPad with USB-C, iOS 17+): live preview and captured images now use the correct orientation and mirroring, and cameras are shown by their hardware name
• Resolved camera-related crashes on Mac when a device doesn't support the requested capture settings

Printing

• Per-event print settings now sync via the cloud, so print configuration follows the event

Surveys & Text Messaging

• Survey question types saved on iOS now match the dashboard and Windows booth
• Resolved an issue that prevented SMS messages from sending, and fixed the SMS send button not being visible on iPhone in landscape

Appearance

• Updated the app to use a new font throughout for a cleaner, more consistent look
• Improved color selection, including reliable hex color code entry
• Fixed text being cut off on larger iPad displays and refreshed several guest-facing screens

Stability & Reliability

• Events now sync more reliably after Wi-Fi interruptions, so overlays and settings are no longer lost on a dropped connection
• Resolved crashes when opening events created on older versions of LumaBooth for Windows, and when loading green screen backgrounds
• Improved video processing reliability and quieted noisy startup warnings
• Fixed the Cancel button doing nothing in the Create/Copy Event view on Mac

This update resolves a crash that could occur when duplicating events, making it safer to reuse your favorite event setups.

Stability

• Fixed an issue where copying an event's settings could cause the app to crash for events that had never had print or copy settings configured.
