dslrBooth for Windows v7.48 – Built-in SMS and New Camera Support

We are excited to announce the release of dslrBooth version 48, featuring 31 improvements and fixes across multiple areas. This update brings significant enhancements to camera integration, user interface, stability, and cloud services.

Major Improvements

SMS and Email Improvements

• Added new option to send SMS using built-in integration rather than having to set-up a Twilio account and deal with complex registration system. You can fill up your SMS balance which is used to send your messages. You can set this up under Settings, Sharing Settings, SMS. You’ll be able to see your current balance as well as Refill it. Refill balance will allow you to see what the rates are for your country and previous messages.
• Enhanced HTML email formatting for improved deliverability and reduced spam filtering.

Camera Integration

• Added support for GoPro Hero 13
• Expanded compatibility with more Sony camera models:

User Interface

• Enhanced sharing stats summary and detail screens for better readability.
• Fixed display issues with high refresh rate monitors.
• Fixed resizing of photo using touch on background removal settings.

Additional Enhancements

• Improved performance on computers with discrete graphics cards.
• Allow setting of survey answer font and alignment (left/center/right) to be used when adding survey answer in the Print Layout. Font size can also be set to a specific size. These features are helpful when printing personalized cards.
• Improved cashless payment QR code functionality when Start Screen Video was set.
• Fixed Canon camera issue during boomerang-to-video session transitions.

• Improved accuracy on sharing status by indicating the exact amount of prints per file.
• Fixed browse button not being shown after retaking photos or when files were being deleted.
• Enhanced internal database migration process to automatically fix problems generated by wrong installations or after executing older versions of dslrBooth.
• Added a check in the installer to avoid the app being installed on a root folder by error. This situation causes problems both in the app and in the operating system.
• Fixed second countdown for GIFs using the first photo countdown value instead of the correct one.
